Usually the table is on either the back or side of a package. It is typically oriented vertically, but some food packages place the table horizontally. Some use very small print for the information, and some list it in a paragraph rather than in a table. The paragraph presentation and the small text are not ideal for consumers who wish to read the table and find values of interest. Nonetheless, you can find dietary fiber, total and added sugars, and protein on nearly every packaged food item.
